I Need A Boston Loft

By Anthony Longo 29 01 2008

Boston Loft and Luxury Boston Lofts For Sale

Ok, I have been passionately searching the market for one of my clients for the ultimate Boston Loft. We are pretty open to location and parking situation (as long as it is somewhat convenient), however I do need the following.

- Volume and lots of it.
- Bright light and open space
- True loft feel, brick and beam, high ceiling height, etc
- Private outdoor space (roof deck, etc) and lots of it

Ideally, we are looking for approximately 2,000 sq/ft and up. It could be a completely built out 2+ bedroom or a raw space in which we can convert into the ultimate New York style loft condominium. We know the product exists here in Boston, but is very rare to find.

Our price point for this gorgeous Boston Loft would ideally be at or below $1M but would love to hear and see any Boston Loft property that would fit this description.

Whether your Boston Loft is on the market or not or you are a Boston Real Estate listing agent and you know of such a Boston Loft, please contact me direct.

Thank you,

Tony Longo

Lincoln Plaza Lofts in Bostons Leather District

By Anthony Longo 15 10 2006

Lincoln Plaza Residences, at the gateway to Boston’s Leather District, overlooking the Rose Kennedy Greenway and the new Chinatown Park, will consist of eighty-five residences and eight commercial units in two buildings, The Lincoln and The Essex. Eleven of the residential units have been designated “affordable” by the City of Boston and will be sold by lottery to qualified buyers.

Lincoln Plaza Condo in Boston

The Lincoln Building is a Renaissance Revival mercantile structure designed by the noted architect Willard T. Sears and built in 1894. Sears also designed the New Old South Church in the Back Bay, and the home of Isabella Stewart Gardner in the Fenway, now a museum. The Lincoln building is bounded on the north by Essex Street, on the west by Lincoln Street, and on the south by Tufts Street. The Street level and the basement will house 5 commercial units. The residences will be located on floors two through six. The main residence entrance will be at 70 Lincoln Street. Each floor will have ten residences; one studio, five one-bedrooms, and four two-bedrooms. Ceiling height on all floors will be approximately nine feet, ten and three-quarter inches in the living rooms and bedrooms. The Lincoln Building has two elevators.
