If you’re like me, traveling to and from 337 Summer Street can take quite
awhile (I stop for a bite to eat at Dunkin’ Donuts, en route, which helps).

There are different modes of transporation to and from 337 Summer Street.

You can drive to 337 Summer Street.

You can also walk there.

You can take the Red Line to South Station and walk down Summer Street.

You can take the Silver Line to South Station and walk down Summer Street.

And, don’t forget, you have one additional mode of transportation available.

You can also take any commuter rail train that travels between the Back Bay
/ South End Station and South Station.

If you have a monthly MBTA subway pass, your fare is already included. No
extra charge.

If you don’t have a pass, buy a one-way subway pass and show it on-board.

Most likely, though, the conductor will never check to make sure you’ve
paid. But, just in case, always carry an extra.

(In fact, you can also take the Red Line from Porter Square and the Orange
Line from Malden Center, doing the same thing. And, maybe, Yawkey Way to
South Station, I’m not sure. And maybe Chelsea to North Station and JFK /
UMASS to South Station, you’ll need to check.)

Taking the commuter rail instead of the subway can save a lot of time, if
you’re going from any of the above stations.

You’re welcome!
