As a loyal reader of the blog for the last three months...and a loyal fan of the company, it's been a great ride...

But, one comment remains:

The present coverage of JP (Jamaica Plain) on the blog seems ...well rather sad - Worst Showing Ever remains the only "entry" for this wonderful, friendly, open, and safe part of Boston. A

As an official member of the JP community, I just thought I'd make my last comment ... a shout out for the neighborhood...and perhaps recommend maybe something positive be written or added to your blog?

I'll get folks started by telling you some of my favorite things about wonderful Jamaica Plain (bought in June and proud to share that we bought through condodomain)....

So JP is awesome because:

1. Home of some of the most historic grass roots social movements
2. The Dogwood Cafe on Hyde Park Ave has probably the best pesto pizza (Evergreen) and is one of the best "gems" of JP
3. JP Licks, some of the best ice cream in the world, began and has its main ice cream place on Centre Street
4. Streets like ours range in age from 70-young dudes in college, are open to any partnering including married, living together, mixed raced couples, and the gay community ... Everyone does their thing, but is chill, friendly, and ... liberal ...
5. JP is the first part of Boston where hybrid identities can take form
6. Largest Spanish speaking community from a range of backgrounds in Boston
7. Great support for public services, home to awesome public schools supporting international students
8. Bordered by and near amazing GREEN SPACE (come on there is more to the Boston Common folks!) including the Arboretum, the Historic Forest Hills Cemetary (a.k.a. Forest Hills Park), and near the Franklin Park Zoo
9. Forest Hills T Stop - Orange Hill ... Fastest T and Forest Hills allows almost 130,000 commuters to come in and out each day...
10. The Pond is a stones throw away - and is a gorgeous space for walks, bike rides, picnics, all four season

So, if you've got any doubts about "seeing" a place in JP, I hope that my contribution can ...not convince you...but just keep it open ... Trust me, there is home here that just cannot be compared to another space...and place...

JP - Just Perfect!

Thanks CondoDomain for making it happen!

Cheers! Best wishes!
